Why we chose agriculture

I grew up on the family farm and liked the independence. I knew it would be a great place to raise a family.

Our business future

The Lewis Farm was homesteaded in 1871 by my great grandfather. We still farm those original 40 acres. To continue to be viable in the future, we need to educate people on where their food comes from. I want to be able to pass the farm onto the sixth generation, my grandkids.

What I enjoy about farming

The rewards of a job well-done. I know I am making a contribution to society by growing food and being a faithful steward of the land.
