Pasture Fire

Pasture Fire Protection insures pasture, rangeland, and forage ground against fire caused by lightning strikes, equipment and machinery, and weather-related downed power lines.

Annual Policy

Annual policy that can be renewed or revised each year. Coverage per acre is selected by the insured and varies by provider.

Fire Department Services

Coverage includes charges from fire department services ranging from $500 - $750 and varies by provider.


Eligibility is based on covered acres and must be in an area that has some type of fire protection services, either private or public.Eligible Crops.

Sales Closing Date

Sales closing date varies by insurance provider.

Hay Fire

Hay Fire Protection insures stacks, chopped hay, baled hay, or cubed hay.


Hay can be stored in open areas or in buildings or structures.


Excludes growing hay.

Direct Loss

Covers direct loss due to fire, lightning and removal from premises endangered by these perils.

Additional Coverage

Additional coverage may be available for hay loss due to windstorm or collision during transport.

Sales Closing Date

Sales closing date varies by state and insurance provider.

Available to all qualifying producers regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, and marital or family status.
