I get to be with my family every day and everybody works together. My mom drives truck, my kids and my brothers’ kids all pitch in. It’s good to see them build a work ethic. And I enjoy getting up and going to work every day.

If you don’t try it, you’ll never learn it.

I love to combine. I can see where I missed a spray two years before and learn from that. It’s like you’re seeing the history of your land go by.

I have three teenaged kids so my fun is going to football games, volleyball matches and track meets.

What I like about them is that they understand our operation. The people we work with are personable, too. We have a good relationship. When I come in with an idea, they aren’t afraid to throw out their ideas, too. They are very positive.
