Steps to Sync Your Accounting Software

Update Your QuickBooks® or Quicken® Connection to My Account

Connection Overview

Beginning March 26, 2026, My Account will use a new, more secure connection method for customers who use QuickBooks® or Quicken® to automatically bring their account and transaction activity into their software (QuickBooks Bank Feeds and Quicken Connected Account).

This update ensures improved security, faster syncing, and better long‑term compatibility.

Depending on your product, you may be prompted to:

  • Reauthorize your connection
  • Log in using a secure FCSAmerica‑hosted login window
  • Refresh or relink your accounts
  • Follow updated steps for downloading transactions

More Secure Login Process

Intuit now requires a secure hosted sign‑in process for all financial data connections. My Account will use a new connection method—API or Express Web Connect Plus (EWC+)—depending on your product.

New Reauthorization Cycle

After March 26, most users will periodically be asked to refresh or reauthorize their connection (typically every 90 days).

  • "Farm Credit Services of America has updated its connection method"
  • In QuickBooks Online: Error 377 ("Fix now")
