Grant Program

Through our Working Here Fund, we provide grants for projects and organizations that make a positive impact in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota or Wyoming in the areas of ag education, young and beginning producers, and hunger and nutrition. Grants will also be considered for essential services and disaster relief needs in rural communities. There are two funding options – grants of up to $2,000 each and up to $10,000 each – available through our Working Here Fund. Grants up to $2,000 are awarded quarterly; grants up to $10,000 are awarded biannually.

We contribute more than $430,000 annually in sponsorships and scholarships to high school and university agriculture programs, ag leaderships programs, 4-H and FFA.

  • 4-H and FFA

We provide 4-H county fair stall cards and t-shirts, and supply the FFA student and advisor handbooks in our four-state territory.
  • FFA Risk Management Tool for the Ag Classroom

Provided at no cost to FFA classrooms in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming, this tool provides intuitive way for FFA students to learn about agriculture risk management and marketing principles.

Young and Beginning Producers

  • Annie’s Project

Our support provides 40 farm business management, livestock management, and succession planning courses for women farmers and ranchers through women in agriculture programs and Annie's Project, an educational program designed to strengthen women's roles in the modern farm enterprise. Through donations and volunteer efforts of our employees, we've helped process more than 105 tons of food, built community gardens and filled backpacks for kids.

Employee Volunteer Program

Every employee of FCSAmerica has the opportunity to participate hands-on in our community involvement program. Annually, each employee is allocated eight hours of paid time each year to volunteer for an organization they choose to support.

In 2017, FCSAmerica employees invested more than 8,500 hours of their time to help community organizations.
