Proper Identification Number Required

In recent years, more attention has been given to making sure crop insurance policies use the correct tax identification number, a Social Security (SSN) or Employer Identification (EIN). Entity types such as individuals operating as businesses, estates, and irrevocable trusts require EINs. If your SSN has been used in the past, be sure to contact your insurance specialist to update your policy with an EIN.
