Welcome to Common Ground

Doug Stark, President and CEOWelcome to our Common Ground blog, a new channel for Farm Credit Services of America to share information and insight about topics that impact agriculture.

Today more than 60,000 producers make up the customer-owners of FCSAmerica.  Together they help us gain a uniquely broad perspective on the issues that affect farmers, ranchers, agribusiness and rural communities.  Our aim is to pass along our learning by sharing information on a wide range of topics, from farm safety and land values to risk management, succession planning, the importance of working capital, and more.

Our first few posts offer a sample of what’s to come.  You can expect to see new blog posts every other week featuring contributions from employees across our organization.

At FCSAmerica, there is no industry we could be prouder to support, and no group of people we could be more honored to serve, than agricultural producers.  Common Ground will help readers learn about and celebrate the men and women who feed our nation and the world.  We invite you to follow our
blog and to comment, share and connect with us online.
