Omaha, Nebraska (March 27, 2015) – The Farm Credit Services of America Board of Directors has appointed L. James (Jim) Kortan of Brookings, South Dakota, as its newest director. He will serve a four-year term, effective April 1, 2015.
Kortan fills one of two appointed seats on the board reserved for directors who are non-customers of the customer-owned cooperative.
Kortan is a retired partner with Deloitte & Touche and brings to the FCSAmerica Board of Directors a background in information technology, strategic planning, risk management, internal control, regulatory compliance and business process improvement.
