Farm Credit Services of America Board of Directors Elects Three Officers

Omaha, Nebraska – (April 10, 2014) The Board of Directors for Farm Credit Services of America announced today the results of its election of Board leadership. Jeremy Heitmann of Byron, Nebraska was elected Board chair; Nicholas Hunt of Atlantic, Iowa was elected first vice chair; and Kim Vanneman of Ideal, South Dakota, was elected second vice chair.
Jeremy Heitmann was re-elected by FCSAmerica customer-stockholders in March 2014 to the Board of Directors to serve a four year term. He was appointed to the Board in 2008 and elected to his first term starting on January 1, 2011. He farms with his family, raising corn, soybeans, and wheat. The family also runs a feeder-to-finish cattle operation.
Nicholas Hunt was elected to the Board as of January 1, 2007, and his current term ends on March 31, 2017. He owns and operates a farm on which he grows corn, soybeans, alfalfa. He also has a cow-calf and cattle feeding operation.
Kim Vanneman was also elected to the Board as of January 1, 2007. Her current term ends on March 31, 2017. She and her husband own and operate a diversified farming operation that includes row crops, small grains, finishing feeder pigs and a commercial beef cow herd.
