Farm Credit Services of America Customer-Owners Elect Four to Board of Directors

Omaha, Nebraska ­­– (March 28, 2014) Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) stockholders elected four producers to four-year terms on the financial cooperative’s Board of Directors, effective April 1, 2014: Susan K. Voss of North English, Iowa; Robert Bruxvoort of New Sharon, Iowa; Jeremy Heitmann of Byron, Nebraska; and John Reisch of Howard, South Dakota.

Susan K. Voss and her husband, Robert, grow corn and beans and have run cow-calf and  background feeder operations.  She also is a certified public accountant and principal at TD&T CPAs and Advisors, PC. She holds a degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa.

Robert Bruxvoort operates a family farm, producing corn and soybeans. He and his family also run a custom-hog finishing business. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture mechanization from Iowa State.

Jeremy Heitmann is part of three farm corporations, all family operated, that grow white and yellow corn, soybeans, wheat and alfalfa, provide custom farming services, and background feeder cattle. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in diversified agriculture from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

John Reisch is president of Reisch Farms Inc., which produces corn, beans, wheat, alfalfa and grass crops, and has cow-calf and cattle feeding operations. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from South Dakota State University.

Robert Bruxvoort, past chairperson; Jeremy Heitmann, current first vice chairperson; and John Reisch each have served on the FCSAmerica Board of Directors since January 1, 2008.   

Susan K. Voss replaces Richard Hall of Massena, Iowa, who is retiring from the FCSAmerica Board of Directors effective March 31, 2014. He has served on the Board since January 1, 2007. Margaret Doyle of Waukee, Iowa, also will retire from the Board on March 31. She has served as an appointed member of the Board since August 1, 2006. She will be replaced by Mark Weiss of Omaha, Nebraska, who was appointed by the Board earlier this year.
