Pierre Operations and Staff Relocate Due to Rising Waters
Pierre, SD – (May 31, 2011) – Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) has moved their business operations from its Pierre, South Dakota office to a temporary office space. Due to the rising waters along the Missouri River near FCSAmerica’s Pierre office, the City of Pierre required evacuation of the facility by Sunday evening, May 29. The Pierre office on Missouri Avenue was evacuated according to the city timeline without any damage to the structure and the retention of all key confidential customer information was secured.
FCSAmerica will continue business operations at the Sharpe Enterprises building on Wednesday, June 1, 2011. The new facility is located on the east side of Pierre, on the north side of Highway 34 just east of the National Guard Armory, at the following address:

The Pierre office of FCSAmerica is now open and operating at the new location with the ability to fund operations for its customers. FCSAmerica will continue to monitor any potential for structural damage due to the rising waters, as no damage was done to the Pierre FCSAmerica office over the weekend.
