Give a #SpoonSalute to Thank America’s Farmers

by Judy Hartlieb, vice president of public relations and marketing | Oct 10, 2014

American farmers are the most productive food producers in the world. This fall, to honor farmers during harvest time, FCSAmerica is partnering with Hy-Vee grocery stores to feature five of our customer-owners on the backs of Hy-Vee brand cereal boxes. The cereal will be available in 237 stores across the Midwest.

The cereal box ads encourage consumers to give a “spoon salute” to the hard-working people who keep our cereal bowls full. For every spoon salute that’s posted on Facebook and Twitter this fall, FCSAmerica will donate money to area food banks to help share the abundance with more people in our local communities.

Watch as Doug Stark, our CEO, kicks off the #SpoonSalute campaign.

Now it’s your turn. Help us fight hunger by acknowledging the farmers and ranchers who feed our nation.
