How I prepared myself for agricultural business

I came back to the family farm about five years ago, after college, and started with a few cattle of my own. Then I set up an operating line of credit with FCSAmerica that allowed me to establish my own operation.

What I’ve learned

Working with a financial partner like FCSAmerica makes things pretty painless. I’ve learned that it’s important to work with good people. It makes things really easy.

Advice to other young and beginning farmers

Make good decisions and stick with them. It’s a lot harder to change gears. Whatever your endeavors are, make sure it’s what you want to do.

Our family business approach

If we have a good idea, we work together to bring it to life. It helps us to work with a financial partner that is flexible and willing to help us grow.

Why we work with FCSAmerica

They are very in tune with what we are trying to do. They understand the processes we go through and all of the details that come with what we do. They’re there to stand with us through the whole process.
