Omaha, Nebraska (March 27, 2015) – Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) stockholders elected four producers to the financial cooperative’s Board of Directors, effective April 1, 2015: Jim Ehlers of Newell, Iowa; Steve Henry of Nevada, Iowa; Rick Maxfield of Lyman, Wyoming; and Randy Peters of McCook, Nebraska.
Jim Ehlers operates a family farm with his son, Joel, and brother, Steve. The family raises corn and soybeans. He was elected to a two-year term, effective April 1, 2015. He joined the FCSAmerica Board of Directors on January 1, 2009. His term expires March 31, 2017.
Steve Henry has a commercial and seed-crop production operation. The multi-generational family operation also provides customers with farming, detasseling and pesticide application services.
He was elected to a four-year term, effective April 1, 2015. He joined the FCSAmerica Board of Directors on January 1, 2011. His term expires March 31, 2019.
Rick Maxfield and his family have a ranch and farm. The multi-generational operation includes cow-calf and background calves. The family also grows hay. He was elected to a four-year term, effective April 1, 2015. His term expires March 31, 2019.
Randy Peters and his wife operate two family farms with their sons Ryan and Randon. The family grows wheat, seed wheat, corn, peas, soybeans and sunflowers. They also have a Black and Red Angus cow-calf herd. He was elected to a four-year term, effective April 1, 2015. He joined the FCSAmerica Board of Directors on January 1, 2003. His term expires March 31, 2019.
