Farm Credit Services of America Announces Board Election Results & Director Appointment

Omaha, Nebraska (December 16, 2010) - Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) stockholders elected four Midwest producers to its Board effective January 1, 2011 -  Bob Bruxvoort, New Sharon, IA, Steve Henry, Nevada, IA, Jeremy Heitmann, Byron, NE and John Reisch, Howard, SD. The FCSAmerica Board also appoints Robert Joki, Cook, MN to the Board effective January 1, 2011.

Bruxvoort has a farming and farrow-to-finish hog operation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University. Bruxvoort joined the Board on January 1, 2008 and the new three-year term will end on December 31, 2013.

Henry has a commercial and seed-crop production operation. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Iowa State University. Henry will join the Board on January 1, 2011 and the new four-year term will end on December 31, 2014.

Heitmann has a farming, background feeder cattle and custom farming operations. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Diversified Agriculture from the University of Nebraska. Heitmann joined the Board on January 1, 2008 as an appointed director and the new three-year elected term will end on December 31, 2013.

Reisch has farming and cattle feeding operations. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from South Dakota State University. Reisch joined the Board on January 1, 2008 and the three-year term will end on December 31, 2013.

Joki most recently was the Controller, Grain Group, for Ag Processing Inc., a cooperative for procuring, processing, marketing, and transporting grains and grain products in the United States and Canada. Joki is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. His four-year term will begin on January 1, 2011 and will end on December 31, 2014.

Larry Paulsen, Coleridge, NE Alan Steffens, Clermont, IA and Dennis Schwitters, Broomfield, CO will be retiring from the Board effective December 31, 2010. Paulsen has been on the Board since 2005 and had previous service from 1998 to 2003; Steffens has been on the Board since 2008 and had previous service from 1994 to 2005; and Schwitters has been on the Board since 1998.
